Aspen Path

This 6 foot tall painting reminds me of a favorite place in Idaho where my husband asked me to marry him. I have always loved aspen trees and pines, especially in the autumn. There is something fascinating about the rustling of the wind through the aspen leaves and they look like nature’s glitter in the sunlight. The white bark actually was painted with vertical ribbons of color using soft white, yellow, pink, green and lavender.
