Candle of Hope

During a difficult time in our world, a leader in our community suggested that on a certain day each household could set a candle in their window or on their doorstep. When the evening came we placed candles on our doorstep and in our front window. As I looked up and down the streets there were candles at each home as far as I could see. We have people in our neighborhood from many places including Germany, Japan, India, Greece, etc. The candles truly brought a feeling of connection and hope. See additional story
