Poppy Brilliance

Our neighbors have amazing poppies in their yard every spring. I was able to capture the images of these beautiful flowers when the sun was shining through them. I focused on some of the main flowers in the cluster using vivid reds and oranges, accenting with pink and yellow highlights. I like how this painting has a fun energy and excitement..
