River Rush
This 4 foot tall painting is of a place in Big Cottonwood Canyon not too far from Storm Mountain near a bend in the road. The Eastern sunlight shines through the trees as the creek splashes and swirls over and around the rocks in the riverbed. Fishermen sometimes stand in the calmer water that is near the rocks by the shoreline. There is a path through the rocks that leads there. The meadow invites the viewer to come and rest for a while and listen to the rush of the ever changing stream.
