Canyon Waterfall Detail

I was privileged to paint on several temple murals which inspired me to do a three piece (triptych) oil painting mural for our home. One of my daughters had the idea to expand the height of the center section above and below the side sections. The artwork is a combination of some of my favorite places. The waterfall, aspens and pines were inspired by a scene in the canyon a few miles from our home in Utah. The mountains are a variation of the Sawtooth Range in central Idaho and the water represents Coeur d' Alene Lake in northern Idaho.
